ABOUT THE IFERA 2008 CONFERENCE THEME: ‘The Entrepreneuring Family’
The IFERA 2008 theme, ‘The Entrepreneuring Family’, targets the intersection of entrepreneurship and
family business research. One aim of entrepreneurship research is to understand the creation and exploitation
of economic opportunities. Family business scholarship aims, in part, to understand factors of family business
growth, survival, and longevity. At the intersection of these goals lie many interesting research questions to
pursue.
